Separated & Set Apart

I use to wonder why the people who I considered to be best friends never had the heart towards me that I had towards them. Whatever the need, wherever the need, whenever they needed, I was always there. A friend in need,  I was a friend indeed. I realize now that although those people weren’t bad people, they were not living to be “God’s people”; His chosen children.  Therefore, God was calling me from among them. He separated me and set me apart from all those I considered to be best friends.  He allowed me to sense the rejection of my friends. He allowed me to feel the lonliness of being forgotten and through it all, He kept me in perfect peace.  I am thankful for being separated and set apart.
